Hi I’m Lynsey, also known as Lynz. Or Z. Depends on who you ask.
You can read more about how I got here in my first post.
My Meal Prep Necessities
Want to be a meal prep-per but don’t really know where to start? I’ll show you how I have set up my tiny kitchen for meal prep.
Taste Test: Olipop Peaches & Cream
I like Olipop, especially a lot of their fruity flavors. Will I like their limited edition Peaches & Cream flavor?
Why am I here?
Instead of having an existential crisis today, I will talk a bit about my food journey and why I decided to start this blog.
I’ll be writing more on this page as I develop the blog further. For now, here’s an overview of what I expect it will eventually contain.
- Recipes!
- Sweet and savory, created or adapted by me. I’m planning to focus on recipes that use ingredients that are easy to find in my rural town, or when I’m visiting my family, my slightly larger hometown.
- Sweet and savory, co-created or adapted by my niece/sous chef, Sophie. We’ll refer to that as Sophie’s Showcase!
- Recommendations and/or adaptations of recommendations that I love from others.
- Reviews!
- Of food-related things.
- Of food or food-related things, by my family’s number one food critic, my nephew Jefferson. We’ll refer to that as JD’s Judgments.
- Travel!
- I’m a travel advisor. Talking about travel will happen occasionally.
- I will talk about food I encounter while traveling!
- Food & Self-care!
- I want to talk about developing strategies to make sure those of us who struggle with things like fatigue can still plan to eat healthy when we don’t feel like cooking.
- I hope that means planning recipes that can also be used as meal prep. Using similar foods but not the same meal for four days.
- But hyperfixation foods happen and it’s okay if we want to eat oatmeal every morning for months. 🙂
